Last month was an incredible turn out at the school board meeting in Aldine ISD. There was at least 15 public comments opposing eminent domain on my dads house and the board read aloud some of the many comments submitted online. Tomorrow there are two agenda items concerning eminent domain that will be voted on by the board. I do not know what the action is they will take. I can only hope this issue is dropped and everyone can move on. The community support has been incredible. When strangers show up and speak on our behalf, it really sends a powerful message. This is not over yet.
