Upscale/fancy Asian dining restaurant suggestions?

Japanese, Chinese, Korean, and more Asian cuisines are appreciated. Places needing reservations welcomed as well.

Looking for places that are great for dates/romance. Authenticity is extra exciting too (my date is from HK).

I did search for recommendations for Asian cuisine but there are so very many and I’m looking for upscale specifically.

Edit: My date genuinely enjoys a variety of Asian cuisines. And I’m trying to find an upscale dining place for date night that also happens to really connect with his tastebuds more than what I would probably find on my own. We have been to Tokei (in Chinatown) together which he really enjoyed/appreciated.
