Update on Pho Bo To & Bo Ne vs Pho 54 (Beechnut/Bellaire)

Hi everyone. I posted in the main r/houston last week about Pho and Ramen. My favorite was Pho Bo To for their broth but my criticism was that the amount of protein that you got there vs Pho 54 was not sufficient given the price.

Happy to report that as of today, Pho Bo To has increased the amount of meat in their soup substantially to compete with Pho 54 and many others in the market. I’ve been a long time regular but it wasn’t until I posted on Reddit that I saw a big change in their offering for the better.

Nam Mi in Pasadena / Deer Park is my next favorite and their portion sizes for the price are very generous.
