They can take a year off.

I watched this team win the ship in 2017

I watched them fall in the ALCS in 2018

Watched them come 1 game from another ship in 2019.

Another ALCS trip IN 2020.

Another pennant and a trip back to the big dance in.2021

Another World Championship in 2022.

If the Astros dont make the playoffs this year, (Which frankly is a ridiculous doomer prophecy) I wouldnt be that upset. I think they have earned a break. Im not saying I want them to miss it, but Im a fan whether they win or lose. This is my team.

Its crazy a 100 loss season team has had such a great run but the game threads are still full of hate for players and staff. I joined this sub to keep up with the Astros news and such, cause I miss alot of games. But all I see nowadays is negativity. Which is crazy to me. And I know…..opinions……first ammendment…..Im all for it. I just dont get it. I could see if we were like at the bottom of the division or something like that but were doing better than alot of teams.

Anyway, sorry for ranting. Thanks for tuning in.
