University of Houston moves up in college rankings (US News)

The fact that the University of Houston (133) is ranked higher than LSU (185), University of Alabama (170), Texas Tech (216), and many other universities now is great news for Houston. It means much less students will leave Houston to attend college. Houston definitely benefits from the rise of University of Houston academics.
