United Airlines names new CEO

Chicago-based United Airlines Holdings (Nasdaq: UAL) — the busiest airline in Houston — will have another new CEO starting in May, according to a Dec. 5 press release.

United President J. Scott Kirby will become CEO after the company’s annual shareholders meeting on May 20, 2020, succeeding Oscar Munoz, who will become executive chairman of the board of directors for United.
