United Airlines continues to slash flights due to coronavirus

United Airlines on March 17 said it will slash flights by 60 percent in April.

The Chicago-based carrier said in a statement that it was cutting International flights by 85 percent next month and domestic schedules by 42 percent.

All the cuts are the result of the worsening coronavirus crisis that has walloped the airline industry.

United did not address any changes that may be in the offing for May, but previously warned that service reductions could continue into the peak summer travel season…
