Un-Popular? Opinion. Joe Espada doesn’t want Altuve to overshadow Alomar’s career as the best Latino 2B.

Espada has done enormous damage to Altuve's career, especially his HOF CV. If Altuve were playing second base he would have another WAR and a huge chance of going to another all-star game. It's almost certain that Altuve won't be chosen as an outfielder and won't make more that 2 WAR. In my opinion, and as a Latino, I know there might have been some suspicions about Altuve. Keeping him in the outfield was a bit of a fool's errand, especially with a second baseman who isn't performing for the team. Also, why did he take him out in a historic game where he was 4-for-4 as designated hitter?
