UH adds Doctor of Nursing Practice program amid efforts to expand health care to disadvantaged communities
The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board has approved the University of Houston’s new Doctor of Nursing Practice program.
The practice doctorate is intended to address shortages of primary care providers, nursing educators and leaders, something UH and other local educational institutions have discussed addressing for some time.
