Two things can be true…
So while I appreciate and am excited about what the Texans did in the first half against arguably the best team in football WITH a few key players missing, I can also be frustrated at how we lost an easily winnable game because we made the same mistakes that we have been making since Week 1. I know in the long term this team still has Super Bowl potential, but we have not seen them play a complete game this season and it is looking more and more like this is just who they are. I think we should make the playoffs and maybe even win 10-11 games, but that doesn’t take away the frustration of seeing poor play from the usual suspects every week. Unfortunately, if we can see these glaring issues then other teams are absolutely on top of it and will probably use it to beat us (assuming they have the ability to, which most good teams do). I still am holding on to hope that we can make a legitimate run, maybe even beat the Ravens and/or Chiefs later this year, but that will only be if we can solve or at least mask some of our issues. Just a thought…
