TV vs Radio
For years I’ve watched the Blum/Kalas/Morales trio on TV and enjoyed them a great deal. This year though, it seems they spend much more time talking about the same old stuff. Framber peanut stories. (Boring). Player hobbies. Dugout dances. Waving to the bullpen. Exit velocity, launch angle, metrics no one understands as if everyone does. They seem to be in a rut. Talking about the same things over and over.
Steve Sparks and Robert Ford are OUTSTANDING but they are always a couple pitches ahead. I really wish they were in synch with TV. I’m listening to them and watching more and more.
