Trying to recall info about afternoon kids show on one of Houston’s UHF channels (20, 26, 39) in the early 90’s
The show I am thinking of used the opening of the B-52's Private Idaho on loop as their background song and featured a woman with a red beehive hairdo (also B-52's influenced, though I did not know that as a kid) whose name I can't recall. It seems to me that each clip of the show played during commercial breaks during afternoon cartoons after school. I want to say that this was on Channel 39, but I really cannot be for sure. Any information about the name of the show or its characters would be greatly appreciated. As for the song, if you weren't familiar with the B-52's, as I wasn't as a kiddo, you would just think it was an original song for the show because of the weird intro to private Idaho that they sampled is the portion before Fred Schneider actually starts singing.
