trying to get into strip clubs into houston

so i want to dance in houston but just have one question. for the license, it says i need to wait 4 to 6 weeks for the application to be approved then i can pick up the license. does this mean, if i apply for the license next sat, i won't be able to dance at any clubs 4 to 6 weeks later??? i hope i'm wrong :[ the site says i need a valid driver's license. i can't use my passport???? i lost my id.
