Trip recommendations for December 2-5th?

Hi, I am from Ohio and going to be visiting Houston December 2-5th for the Texans vs Browns game. It’s me and 4 other 25 year old dudes

I’m wondering what cool activities or places to stay the lovely locals of Houston could recommend

I was thinking of staying in and Airbnb in Galveston. Good idea or no?

Any cool areas of downtown? (Hip, breweries, cool parks, etc)

If there is one thing an out-of-towner MUST see what is it?

Coolest places to stay or get an Airbnb for the weekend?
