Trick or treat volunteering?

These past few years I've been moving places/apartments that are not good for trick or treaters and it makes me a little sad because I used to love giving out candy in my hometown! Was thinking about trying to volunteer for something, but I'm not sure what. Most volunteering things I see are school/church things, but I kinda feel weird infiltrating an organization I'm not part of. Does anyone know of anything?
