Tree Removal (cut down) and stump grinding in Spring- any recommendations?

My front yard tree was damaged in the hurricane and needs to come down before it falls down (just found out, as I'm stuck out of state right now). I'm in Spring- Klein HS area. It's only a 30-40 foot Pine (thanks to Ike and other storms, including Beryl, it keeps getting shorter!).

Any recommendations and/or price experience (either in the thread or DM)? Hopefully the price gouging in settling down by now, as I have to pay out of pocket.

My understanding is the county is going to be picking up all the remnants of downed trees and hasn't done so my neighborhood yet. Anybody know a source of updated information about the removal? I'm HC MUD 24 area (HC MUD 24 had no idea).
