Tree planting question

Recently I had to cut down a 150 year old pine tree because it had termites. My HOA requires a new tree be planted in it's place. I have been looking for new trees that are in the area and I do not want another pine. I have a 200+ year old oak tree in my front yard (the old tree was also there) so I do not want a oak. I am wondering if a red Drummond Maple would be okay. I live Just inside 610, in Afton oaks (if you know you know 🙂 ) would this be a good choice? Please let me know and if not some alternatives please.
