Traveling to Houston

My wife and I are going to be in Houston for a couple of nights and we are looking for safe hotel locations. We are just going to be killing time for the most part, I know traffic will be an issue but we have time on our hands. Safe, clean with parking is what we are looking for possibly at $200/ per night.
