Traveling to Houston

Hi everyone 👋

I’ll soon be traveling to Houston for a month for a temporary program. I live outside the US and so I’m basically clueless about everything in Texas. I understand I’ll need to rent a car since public transportation is a hassle in Houston, so can anyone point me toward a trusted car rental company? Plus, what are the best phone SIM card providers?

If anybody has any other tips for me, it would be greatly appreciated 🥺
