Travel Insurance on Chase Sapphire..I have questions!

Tried getting information about specifics of the travel insurance but Chase would not inform/give me details until I actually have the cards/account set up. Covers up to $10,000 pp/$20,000 total. If I am making 4 equal payments of $5000 (total $20k) would that be covered or do you need to have the insured amount be in one transaction? Are all travel expenses/trips basically covered or must the travel have been booked with the Chase Sapphire card. Any info you could provide is appreciated. TY
