Train along Washington

I read the very excellent Twitter (X? Xitter?) thread a few weeks ago regarding why we have such frequent stoppages along train crossings…but there's one stopped on the track north of Washington that's been waiting for over an hour! What's going on? Is there a real-time source of information for the status of the main lines?
