Traffic ticket and defensive driving question

I just went to the Municipal court to dismiss my first traffic ticket in 6 years. I paid the fee for it and got the paperwork signed and such. Now I'm wondering if I need to go back and pay for my traffic ticket or if dismissing it for defensive driving means that the dismissal fee/DD course fee is all I have to pay for.

They didn't specify it and I don't want to get a warrant for not paying my ticket.
