Toyota Center parking.

I was able to purchase tickets to an event in July but a parking pass was not included in the deal. I know it can be purchased separately. I have never been to the Toyota Center and was wondering what parking is like? Do I need a pass or can I just drive into the garage and pay after the fact? Sorry for the dumb questions, first time!
