Tow Trucker Threatens to Shoot me

My neighbor woke me up at 1am to notify me that my vehicle was about to get towed off and I jumped up to confront him about my vehicle being towed off.

I asked the tower why my vehicle is being towed off and his reasoning is because, t I am illegally parked on my own property because I didn’t have my parking permit for the apartment complex. I had just gotten this vehicle to rent out since my car is in the shop being repaired and didn’t have time to obtain one.

I explained that I live in this property, and he continues to backlash at me saying he doesn’t care I’m illegally parked here and would have to pay $300 because I didn’t own a permit. I tried to ask him if very calmly that if I contacted my property manager about this situation would I get my vehicle back without paying the fee, and very irritating responded back NO THIS IS MY VEHICLE NOW BECAUSE YOU PARKED IN THE WRONG SPOT SO YOUR GOING TO HAVE TO PICK IT UP IN THE MORNING AND PAY THE LOT FEE.

So what did I do, like all pissed off drivers so tried to undo the straps of my vehicle and get my car back. Then he threatens to shoot me since I was touching his property.

I went back to my home to call 911 about this situation and went back out there and he then tells me that he has a flat tire and that I got lucky and left me off the hook.

So my question is…… is a Texas tow truck driver allowed to shoot you for touching their tow strap to your vehicle. Even though I wasn’t threatening him at all???
