Tourist Dining Recommendations and Xochi question

Hey everyone! I’m visiting Houston with my family (spouse and 2 y/o) next month. I have a ticket to see My Chemical Romance at the Toyota center, and beforehand, we would like to dine at Xochi, since I have heard good things about it. I was just wondering how long a typical dining experience at Xochi takes? We have reservations for 5pm, but doors open for the show at 6:30pm, and I would like to make it to the merch table and my seat in good time.

We are also planning to go to the following places in Houston on our trip:

Nancy’s Hustle, Cali Sandwich and Pho, Kata Robata, Wanna Bao, Truth BBQ, Ninfa’s on Navigation

Is that a pretty solid list? We are open to suggestions! We picked the restaurants based on online articles, Reddit posts and reviews, but since we aren’t locals, feedback would be appreciated.
