Top 10 Jose Altuve PS HR of all time

Jose Altuve is the most clutch PS player of his generation. Here are my Top 10 Tuve bombs to prove it, but feel free to correct me where I’m wrong.

The Top 10:

• #8-10. 2017 ALDS G1 vs BOS. Altuve hat trick for his first 3 PS homers (2 off Sale)
• #7. 2020 ALCS G4 vs TB. Down 3-0, Altuve gets Glasnow in the 1st to lead the Astros to their first win + becoming the second team to come back from 3-0 to tie a series.
• #6. 2017 ALCS G6 vs NYY. In his first PS HR vs the Yankees, Altuve answers a Judge HR in an elimination game to help tie the ALCS at 3-3.
• #5. 2021 ALCS G4 vs BOS. Down 2-1 in the series and the game, Altuve ties it in the 8th. The Astros pile on 7 more runs vs two current Rangers (Eovaldi and Perez) in the 9th for the comeback win in the game and then series.
• #4. 2017 WS G2 vs LAD. Altuve hits the go-ahead HR off the player the Dodgers acquired for Yordan Alvarez in the 10th. The Dodgers come back but Springer wins it in the 11th.
• #3. 2017 WS G5 vs LAD. Down 7-4, Altuve ties it with a 3-run bomb off Maeda. Bregman delivers the game-winner in extras.
• #2. 2019 ALCS G6 vs NYY. 2-run walk-off vs Aroldis Chapman. We all thought this was Altuve’s postseason mic drop moment until…
• #1. 2023 ALCS G5 vs TX. 3-run go-ahead bomb vs Leclerc. GOAT status achieved.

Honorable mentions: 2019 ALCS G3 off Severino. 2023 ALCS G3 off Scherzer. 2018 ALDS G1 off Kluber. 2020 ALCS G1 off Snell (L). 2021 ALDS G4 off Hendriks.

And yes, the Snell game is the only one of the above where the Astros lost. The Astros are 19-5 all-time in PS games when Altuve dongs.
