Tomball ISD is not requiring covid positive students to stay home

We received the Student and Parent Return to School Handbook which states that COVID positive students should stay home for 10 days following a positive test.

Are all ISDs in the area merely stating should stay home and not requiring it? I saw the reports on Conroe ISD and couldn't believe it when I saw the same in Tomball.

How are we supposed to keep our kids (especially unvaccinated) safe if they are not requiring sick kids to stay home?
