Tomball denies rezoning for 200-home planned development at FM 2920 and FM 2978, citing lot size, traffic impact

Tomball City Council members unanimously voted to oppose an ordinance April 18 that would have changed the zoning of 70.4 acres at FM 2920 and FM 2978 to accommodate a proposed planned development with commercial space and about 200 single-family lots spanning 4,950 square feet each.
