Toll tag frustration
I was hoping that someone else who had recently purchased a transponder online could share their experience.
I'm getting super frustrated with both EZtag and TXtag. Originally, I ordered 2 TxTags online, this was back at the beginning of March. They said they'd be sent out and I'd receive them in about 2 weeks. Never got anything, so finally after almost 2 months, I canceled and flagged the charge on my card as services not received.
I ordered an EZtag instead thinking maybe this one would arrive before Christmas, this was on the 4th of this month. They said about 10 business days, but here I am, still with no transponder, getting charged full price for tolls.
It's crazy that HEB only sells those ones that cost $2 to refill every time. Has anybody ordered a transponder in the mail recently? How long did you have to wait? When I call, they just say that they're pending activation and they can't say where in the sending process the transponders are.
Of course the office is closed due to COVID. I feel like they're taking their sweet ass time with this just so that they can charge people full toll price.
