To Live Downtown or not to live downtown. HELP

Hey everyone looking for a little advice! I’m moving back to Houston after 3 years away (i had to relocate for grad school). Trying to decide if I want to move downtown or not. I would get an apartment in the market square area at either Brava, Aris, or market square tower. I want a walkable area but let’s be real it’s Houston so anything more than a few blocks during the summer is probably a no for me lol I’ve lived in the heights, greenway plaza, river oaks, and rice village area when I lived here before and not particularly interested in moving back to those areas again. Any thoughts about living downtown or the apartment complexes that I listed specifically? My plan is to choose between those three apartments OR Aspire Post Oak, which is in a completely different area and different vibe.

For reference, I'm a 31M unmarried and no kids. Will be commuting to the medcenter for work. Also, yes I'm very aware that there are a good amount of homeless people downtown. haha
