Thrift Store / Alt Spot?

Hey ya'll. I'm visiting from Atlanta, today is my birthday. Woooo!

Where should I go to find thrift stores, a record shop, and more eclectic or strange businesses on the same strip here in HTX?

I tried the wiki and normal internet but I'm sort of striking out.
