Three Brothers Bakery founder Sigmund Jucker dies

Three Brothers Bakery founder Sigmund Jucker died Dec. 11 at the age of 98, the Houston Chronicle reports. He was the last surviving member of the original founders.

Jucker was born in Poland in 1922, and his family was sent to concentration campus during the Holocaust, per the Chronicle and the Three Brothers Bakery website. Although their parents did not survive, Sigmund Jucker; his twin brother, Solomon; their younger brother, Max; and their older sister, Janie, all did.
