Thoughts on the many Houston food groups on Facebook? Are they full of hype or a useful community resource?

Let's talk Facebook groups, explicitly foodie groups. There are a bunch covering Houston and the suburbs:

Houston Foodie Friends Houston Downtown Area Foodies Houston Heights Foodies Montrose / River Oaks Foodies Spring Branch Area Foodies Spring Branch Area Eats Memorial Area Eats Northwest Houston Foodies Cypress Area Foodies And Fooding North Houston and Tomball Area Foodies Chow Down in Chinatown Katy / Fort Bend Foodies Katy Foodies Pearland Foodies Bay Area Food Lovers Galveston Foodies Galveston Eats Locally Woodlands Area Foodies Woodlands Area Foodies WITHOUT Albert The Woodlands Spring,TX. Foodie Club The Woodlands & Surrounding Area Foodies Sugar Land Area Eats

Which ones are you part of? Which one is your favorite? Which ones are your least favorites? Why are there so many? Do you have any gripes about the administrators or moderators of those groups? Do you think some or all of the administrators or moderators only rave about places where they've dined for free?

I'm in several community Facebook groups similar to Nextdoor, but these food groups are fascinating to me. There is always some type of drama like Nextdoor.
