Thoughts on living in Meyerland?

We are a young family with a few months old baby, looking to settle down in Houston. Meyerland is close to our workplace, so we are potentially considering this neighborhood to settle down in. I would love to hear from those who live here or have lived here in the past about the pros and cons of being in the neighborhood.

Our choices are between Bellaire, Braeswood place, and Meyerland. Pretty much most houses within our budget have FEMA flood score of 6/10.

The meyerland house we are looking at is next to S post oak road area and is a 2021 built elevated house. This appears to be our top choice for now 🙁

Please let us know if there are any other ways we could potentially find out about any additional flood related information which could help us decide one way or the another.
