Thoughts for discussion

Tim Kelly didn’t do very well today. More play action. More pre snap motion. Where were the crossing routes? Gotta help the rookie out.

Davis Mills showed some promise. Great arm talent. Needs to speed up his decision making. Decent in the pocket and will show well against teams that aren’t the best D in the league. A few throws looked like read issues between him and the WR so that should improve with more practice.

P. Brown looks injured still. He was a liability blocking which had been his strength early.

D was unlucky considering we are at 3rd and 4th stringers at skill positions. 2 sack fumbles that we couldn’t recover a key times. Couldn’t get consistent pressure and their play action KILLED us when CMC was in the game. This D will give up those middle/seam routes; just the way it’s designed. The tackling was an issue in the 2nd half. My guess is, just like in Cleveland, we opt to try and punch the ball out as opposed to solid tackles due to being down.

TLDR; if you thought we were winning you haven’t been paying attention much.
