This tree hasn’t started growing since the freeze, the base of it is however still alive. Anyone know what kind of tree it is, and can I do anything to help it?

So everything in my yard that died has either started recovering with new growth or I pulled it out completely dead.

This tree on the other hand is huge. It seems the base of it is alive, still green and strong when I checked it.

However all the thinner limbs above 6ft and up seem to be black inside and dead.

Anyone know what tree this is, do I need to do anything to hell it regrow? Cut down all the dead limbs or leave them?

Any help would be awesome thanks.
