This may sound stupid, but why doesn’t Houstonian roads have trees on the side providing shade for drivers, pedestrians, etc.

Edit: I am talking about main roads not neighborhood roads

Won’t it be better to lineup the roads with trees which will better provide pedestrians, drivers, etc. with shade especially with our type of weather. Also it will improve our greenery scene.
