This is going to sound like a super dumb question lol but I’m hoping someone can break down the logistics…

Is a fire sale really THAT necessary? I know there’s been a lot of talk about trading a number of players for picks but after this year we have all our picks and more cap relief. The offense has proved they’re actually not terrible when the play calling is catered to their skill set.

I figure restructure Cooks, tag Fuller, let Stills walk 😔, cut DJ, restructure and extend Watt on a short term deal should he want to stay, trade and cut a few pieces on defense. Keep in mind I have ZERO idea about how or if this can all work so someone help me out! Is a fire sale really that necessary? Could the one or two 1st/2nd round picks make that much of a difference outside of cap relief?
