this is going to sound crazy, but has anyone seen wild monkeys around houston?

about two weeks ago, my friends and i we’re driving around montrose, we went down a road that was near a busier road. i was in the backseat and my two friends in the front said “what the hell is that??” i looked out the front window and i swear i saw two monkeys on all fours going across the street. it was night time and we weren’t close enough for the headlights to shine on them. my friend thinks it was two cats and my other friend thinks it was a raccoon. but i know it was two monkeys. it looked exactly like two monkeys. they had monkey tails and their bodies are like a monkeys. has anyone else seen a pair of monkeys in houston?
