This Art Comes with Smiles!
It’s always amazing to me how an artist can take an idea from his or her mind and transfer it into a painting that comes to life for the viewers to experience. To me, art in it’s many forms, is one of the astounding miracles of being human. I had the absolute pleasure and privledge of intervening April Turgultalp a few weeks ago and I would love to share with you what she’s doing in the art scene in Houston. April’s style of art in my opinion takes on a life of it’s own as there is no limit to her imagination.
Have you ever seen a painting featuring a lion drinking wine at a bar because he’s depressed about being alone? Or how about a painting of a half giraffe and half turtle swimming near a beach while trying to grab some leaves with it’s long giraffe neck? All these paintings and more are the result of April’s imagination! I believe an investment in her artwork is a sure conversation starter for your next dinner party.
