Things to do on NYE weekend

Hello helloooo

I want to hangout with a friend this weekend since we been busy lately and haven’t had a chance to hangout since. But the thing with Houston, I always have a hard time trying to figure out what to do outside of eat or go to a bar/club. Want to do something not necessarily unique, but to do something a bit different from the typical lounging around at a bar after dinner.

So I would appreciate any recommendations!

Also I guess these things would be good to know: – somewhere safe, don’t wanna stress her out – we are going out to eat too, but we can sort that ourselves, but looking for something to do after. So something we can be lightly active to help digest the food would be cool – it’s NYE weekend so places are prolly going to be crowded, but if there is anything with some decent breathing room would be wonderful lol – photo ops would be nice for the mems – preferably nothing too far east. We live east of downtown, so Katy to Eado would be nice – bonus: easy/plenty parking, might get there with 2 cars so don’t want to be hassled with limited parking if we don’t have too
