All weekend – "Louis Armstrong’s Black & Blues" Screening @ MFAH This new film revisits the music, and reappraises the politics, of legendary jazz trumpeter and singer Louis Armstrong.

All weekend – "Six the Musical" @ Houston Broadway at the Hobby Center From Tudor Queens to Pop Icons, the SIX wives of Henry VIII take the microphone to remix five hundred years of historical heartbreak into a Euphoric Celebration of 21st century girl power! This new original musical is the global sensation that everyone is losing their head over!

All weekend – Brahm's Third Symphony Orchestra Concert @ Houston Symphony Brahms’s glorious Third Symphony is one of orchestral music’s great masterworks, unfurling a seemingly endless cascade of gorgeous melodies.

Ongoing – Alberto Giacometti Exhibition @ MFAH An ensemble of 60 masterpieces highlight legendary sculptor's Alberto Giacometti’s most important creative achievements. Tickets include general admission.

Ongoing – Wall Drawing Series: Mel Bochner @ Menil Drawing Institute The Menil Drawing Institute is proud to work with artist Mel Bochner on the fourth installment of the museum’s ephemeral wall drawing series. Ongoing – Walter De Maria: Boxes for Meaningless Work Exhibition @ Menil Highlighting De Maria’s varied and innovative approaches to media and scale, the exhibition includes a large group of conceptual drawings and photography, sculpture related to the development of the artist’s innovative land art projects of the 1970s, as well as examples of his sound and film work.
