Things to do in Houston this weekend – February 9th – 12th
Finally a weekend with excellent weather! Make some time to get out of the house and enjoy things before its too hot. Further, the rodeo starts in two weeks, so if you need a hat or boots, now is the time to buy it.

SATURDAY & SUNDAY – 'Jeanne Dielman' Screening @ MFAH @ 5PM Recently named the 'Greatest Film of All Time', Chantal Akerman’s 'Jeanne Dielman' is a fascinating character study that encompasses an entire world within it.
All weekend – 'Every Brilliant Thing' @ The George Theater 'Every Brilliant Thing' is a life-affirming story of how to achieve hope through focusing on the smallest miracles of life.
Mahler's 'The Song of the Earth' Concert @ Houston Symphony Beautiful songs and breathtaking vocal feats are in store in this performance of Mahler’s 'The Song of the Earth.'

SUPERBOWL SUNDAY – Nearly every bar in the city is doing some sort of viewing party. Just look up the social media account of your local watering hole and I'm sure they'll have something lined up.
Family Zone @ MFAH @ 1PM Families are invited to visit the MFAH Family Zone where you’ll find engaging gallery activities with coloring sheets, colored pencils, books, and more. Knowledgeable staff members are on hand to help answer questions about the works of art on view.
