Ongoing – Wall Drawing Series: Mel Bochner @ Menil Drawing Institute The Menil Drawing Institute is proud to work with artist Mel Bochner on the fourth installment of the museum’s ephemeral wall drawing series. Thursday & Friday – Stars of the Pharaohs Show @ HMNS Travel to ancient Egypt 6,000 years ago to see how astronomers made the first solar calendar, aligned their temples and pyramids, and told time by the stars.

Happy Hour- Tango Night @ MFAH @ 5PM On Tango Night, members of Houston’s vibrant tango community visit the MFAH for a dance-inspired meetup. Watch the group dance, and join the fun by learning some new moves with local tango instructors.

Korean Art Lecture @ MFAH @ 6:30PM This conversation explores the latest installation of Korean art at the MFAH, featuring loans from LACMA(Los Angeles County Museum of Art).
