Watch wackily decked-out cars parade the streets of downtown

Saturday, April 15
In its 36th year, The Orange Show's annual Houston Art Car Parade is a time-honored local tradition. It’s also one of the best people-watching experiences in the city, as folks show up in over 250 weirdly and wildly decorated vehicles (cars, buses, golf carts, bikes, skates, and more) to roll through our city as a crowd of 300,000 oohs and ahhs. The route opens at 11 am around downtown Houston and along Allen Parkway, with the official parade 2 pm to 4 pm. Blankets, chairs, signs and flags, and good attitudes welcome.
Cost: Free to attend.
