Things to do in Houston this week/next weekend?

We have a group trip coming around this week, about 15 college students, I was wondering what we could do for fun and what the best areas are. I heard midtown is a nice area to walk around in, is that true?

I’m also going a day early with my friend so I was wondering if there was anything him and I could do this Tuesday (hoping it’s not dead on a Tuesday night lol)
