The Best of John Williams: Star Wars & More by the Houston Symphony – All shows start at 8PM/Jones Hall $29 and up – Catch some of the most iconic film scores from the legendary composer, John Williams, when Houston Symphony and Chorus presents an evening of his blockbuster themes, including works from Jaws, Star Wars, Harry Potter, and more.
Retropalooza Houston – 10AM-5PM/Pasadena TX Convention Center/$20-30 – Bring the fam out for a video game extravaganza featuring YouTube gaming personalities, all-era gaming, contests, competitions and guest panels.
Hopchella at Ingenious Brewing Company – 12PM- 7/5PM/1986 S. Houston Avenue, Humble TX/Free – Expect a live interactive art experience with 20+ artists, live music, interactive art installations, and a community chalk mural. There will also be live music, food trucks, and beer specials.
Houston Cigar Week – 2PM-12AM/Crown Plaza Galleria/$35 and up – The inaugural Houston Cigar Week™ kicked off in 2021 on the week of National Holiday, Memorial Day, and was acclaimed as one of Texas’ biggest cigar festivals to date. The founders include SODO, Spades Cigars™, Westside Smokers, For Smokers Only, John of BIC Crew in collaboration with Texas Cigar Aficionados. The week is set to have approximately 15 cigar-related events, 35+ cigar vendors with a 90% projected sell-out rate, and over 4,000 cigar enthusiasts from around the globe.

Chloe Dao Fashion Night in the Heights – 7:30PM/600 N. Sheperd Drive/Free – Season 2 winner and Project Runway alum, Chloe Dao and her team will host a viewing of the documentary “Yellow is Forbidden” as part of her fashion night in the heights series. This doc goes behind the scenes of the infamous yellow dress Rihanna wore to the 2015 Met Gala. Guests are encouraged to wear their own yellow attire for the evening.

Summer Exhibits Opening at Houston Center for Contemporary Craft – 5:30PM-8:00PM/4848 Main Street Houston TX/Free – Join HCCC to celebrate the opening of their summer exhibitions: Made to Last: The Legacy of the Jubilee Quilt Circle and A Dressing the Future: The Ecofiction of Nicole Dextras. The evening will also feature open studios by the current resident artists.
Outdoor Family Movie Night: Sing 2 8:30PM /Levy Park Event Pavilion/Free – Buster Moon and his troupe are back! Family Movie Night, sponsored by Texas Children’s Hospital, presents Sing 2. This free screening begins at 8:30 pm on Friday, May 27 on the Event Lawn. All ages are welcome! No outside furniture is allowed; blankets and park furniture can be used. Snacks and beverages, including beer and wine, will be available from Side Dough an hour prior to the movie through the end of the show. Food and non-alcoholic beverages are available to-go from Woodshed Smokehouse or reserve a table to watch the movie from their patio
Showtek Live in Concert -10PM/Stereo Live Houston/$12 – EDM fans can watch Dutch music duo Showtek live in concert at Stereo Live Houston. The duo includes brothers Wouter and Sjoerd Janssen and is known for collaborations with artists like Chris Brown, David Guetta and Tiësto. Their latest single, Live in a Bubble, features vocals from L.A.-based singer LIIV.
Raul Malo in Concert at the Heights Theatre – 8PM/The Heights Theatre/$28 – The Latin singer-songwriter and frontman of the, Grammy award-winning band, The Mavericks, Raul Malo, takes the stage at The Heights Theater.

The International Festival – 1PM-8PM/Discovery Green/Free – The premier International and Cultural Festival, known for bringing a variety of unique and emerging culture to one place.The International Festival USA is widely regarded as the "Official Celebration of Multi-culturalism and Diversity". Celebrez en Rose – 12PM-10PM/Water Works at Buffalo Bayou/$85 and up – This one is one of the top black events in Houston this weekend. The Célébrez en Rosé (formerly La Fête du Rosé) wine and music festival, which debuted in Atlanta in 2018, is a picnic-style event. Since its inception, Célébrez en Rosé has attracted thousands of people dressed in their finest pink and white attire from across the country to enjoy premier rosé wine, champagne, and cocktails, as well as world-renowned music lineups, luxurious VIP experiences, share-worthy photo installations, gourmet culinary offerings, and more.
Buzzfest 2022 2:30PM/Cynthia Woods MitchellPavilion/$40 and up – Houston's premiere rock show returns! BuzzFest is Saturday, May 28th at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion! Our 2022 lineup features Papa Roach, Seether, Bush, The HU, Dead Sara, and 10 Years!
Dreamfest at Dreamland 9:30AM/Dreamland 2770 W HWY 290, Dripping Springs TX/$50 – Dreamland will host the inaugural DreamFest music and arts festival. Performances will include Bob Schneider, Carolyn Wonderland, Del Castillo, Sir Woman, Gina Chavez, Beat Root Revival, Pat Byrne, Braydon Zink, Wyatt Weaver Band, and Calder Allen. In addition to the musical performances, DreamFest will host an artisan market offering a curated selection from dozens of artists of various mediums showcasing their work and offering it for sale. There will also be a beer garden, miniature golf courses, disc golf, pickleball, and more.

Memorial Day Fireworks at the Woodlands – 5PM/Fireworks at 8:55PM/2099 Lake Robbins Drive, The Woodlands TX/Free – The Sunday event pays tribute to all military service men and women who lost their lives while serving the United States. The festival features live music, children's activities, strolling entertainment and more at Town Green Park. The evening concludes with a dazzling fireworks display* choreographed to a patriotic soundtrack. Concessions will be available for purchase. Please be advised the Festival beverage booth will be cashless. Guests may pay with cash but will need to have exact change.
Houston Cars and Cocktails – 11AM-2PM/Little Woodrow's Tomball – Free/21+ only – Private lot for (300) parking spots. VIP and Club parking sections. Parking will be organized but flexible. Fully fenced area with gates and overflow parking. This event will be geared toward high performance cars, trucks, bikes, hotrods, classic muscle, and off-road trucks. We want to be clear that this is an open event. We want top tier cars and solid folks out there. We want to bring you some of the fastest and nicest rides… some well built trucks on and off road. Bring on the bikes!
