Things to do in Houston?

Im pregnant & due any day so I am veryyy uncomfortable with just a little stamina. My brother is visiting from out of state & I rarely see him. Other than catching up & going to the pool, what are some things I can show him around Houston this week? He loves the outdoors & isnt much a city boy so any parks that we could adventure for a little while? Thrift stores? Baby stores? Shoot any ideas at me. Sw/galleria area but we have a car for traveling. If I wasn’t due anyday now I would take him to kemah/galveston.
