Things to do here with someone from LA

My friend is visiting from LA for the holiday weekend and asked to hang out. I wanna take him and his friend to cool “Houston only” places to make the most of their trip. I’ve been here my whole 21 years but I don’t do much tbh so I’m not sure what to plan. It’s probably gonna rain so the zoo and general parks are probably off the list.

I was thinking museums? I know a couple of cute cafes but it may not be up the alley for l 21 year old LA boys. Any suggestions?

Oh! Should probably mention that I live in southwest houston but they’ll be staying in downtown. I’m def willing to drive them for a houston experience though!
