Things to do during my short time in downtown Houston?

I’ll be in Houston for the next two days during vacation, but I completely forgot to plan anything interesting to do! If anyone knows any cool hidden gems downtown that I should checkout e.g. bars,restaurants,food trucks,sights I’m all ears! I have never been here before and places like trip advisor are just overwhelming with the amount of options that may or may not be tourist traps.
